What is CBD hemp extract?
In the natural processes of the human body, endocannabinoids (CBD) control and influence behaviour. It is like a bridge between the mind and the body that controls your relationship with your environment. When the system is in tune, you don't experience the noticeable drawbacks of natural life. This balance is due to the organic CBD (cannabidiol) content in your body. How and when was CBD invented? CBD is one of the most potent of the 113 cannabinoids and is found in the leaves of the hemp plant. Cannabis has been cultivated and used by mankind since very ancient times. For centuries, people did not understand where and why their beneficial effects come from. However, in the 1940s, CBD was discovered and isolated by scientists studying the composition of marijuana. The first person to discover CBD was Roger Adams, who also hypothesised the existence of the psychoactive substance THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Much later, in 1964, this hypothesis was confirmed by Raphael Mechoulam, who is deservedly regarded as one of the leading researchers on cannabis plants. This led to the discovery of the chemical formulas of CBD and THC, whose 3D molecular form was first determined and evaluated in the laboratory. In all 113 known cannabis plants, CBD and THC substances account for up to 40% of the plant extract.
How can you use CBD? There are different ways to take CBD: inhaling cannabis smoke or vapour, spraying an aerosol preparation, inhaling CBD oil drops, drinking prepared capsules or a prescription liquid solution. In all cases, you should be aware that the CBD preparation does not contain the intoxicating substance THC, which causes elation and euphoria.
