What does science say about CBD oil and regular hemp seed oil?
Although science does not distinguish between hemp and marijuana, most national laws do. Legally, the main difference between the two plants is the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content. One of the many cannabinoids or chemicals found in the cannabis plant is THC. Also, the terms hemp seed oil and CBD oil are often confused and are different products. CBD oil is produced from the stems, leaves and flowers of the cannabis plant, as they contain a higher concentration of the substance. The production of CBD oil thus produces a concentrated product that can have many benefits for human health. In contrast, hemp seed oil is extracted from the seeds of Cannabis sativa. This oil is rich in nutrients, fatty acids and beneficial bioactive compounds that may also have health benefits. However, it does not contain CBD.
